Woody joined DeWitt Giger, LLP in 1993. As the firm’s Tax Manager, he is responsible for corporate and partnership tax returns, tax research, and estate and trust returns. He has extensive experience communicating with the IRS and in researching tax issues. Prior to joining the firm, Woody spent time as a tax manager with Deloitte & Touché. He earned his Bachelor of Science from Mississippi State University, is a member of the AICPA, and currently serves on the Society of Louisiana CPAs’ Federal Taxation Committee. Outside the office, Woody is a geography and history buff and enjoys reading and watching history TV programs. He has been a member of the National Geographic Society since 1974. He also enjoys going to and watching sporting events.
